There is more to the story of our financials

On the surface, our recent financial results indicate some pretty big losses for the first half of 2015. These losses related to some substantial increases in operating expenses over the past several months associated with depreciation of the new surgical tower, cost of supplies, interest on debt, and preparing for a shift from fee for service to the management of care in the community.

Recognition for Groundbreaking Work on Westside

Using Social Media for Good and Bad

Over the last few years I have watched and participated in the social media revolution. It has been a truly amazing time from Facebook, to Instagram to LinkedIn, it has improved the flow of health care information to an extent we never dreamed of. Khan University has made learning accessible to the remotest areas of the world, and improved health care knowledge.
