St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center Carleen Y. Pensero has been appointed director of patient access, effective Fri., Aug. 1.
Pensero has worked for St. Joseph’s for 14 years, first in the area of patient access, where she coordinated the unit and later led the training and quality improvement for the large department. She then moved to director roles in business development and medical staff services where she was responsible for physician relations, recruitment and credentialing.
A resident of Baldwinsville, Pensero earned an MBA from Columbia College and has completed leadership and project management courses in the community; she is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse.
