St. Joseph's College of Nursing Will Hold an Information Session on Sunday, Oct. 6


SYRACUSE – St. Joseph's College of Nursing at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center invites prospective students to attend its upcoming information session on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. No advance registration is required. The college is located at 206 Prospect Ave., Syracuse, across the street from St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center.

Anyone who is interested in a nursing career is encouraged to attend. Faculty and students will be available to answer questions, give tours, and discuss the college’s full-time, part-time and evening/weekend programs.

St. Joseph’s College of Nursing provides an associate degree in applied science with a major in nursing. A Dual Degree Partnership in Nursing (DDPN), held in conjunction with Le Moyne College, allows high school graduates to earn both associate and bachelor’s degrees in nursing in four years and to sit for the national nursing licensing exam after just three years. A new Accelerated Dual Degree Partnership in Nursing (ADDPN), also in conjunction with Le Moyne, allows those who already have completed a bachelor’s or more advanced degree to earn a bachelor’s of science degree with a major in nursing and to sit for the national nursing licensing exam in just 18 months.
