Fun Filled Evening of Culture and Cuisine

Our largest fund raising event of the year is our Annual Gala Dinner Dance, to be held on Friday, May 30th 2014 at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY. This year’s theme is A Passage to India – sure to be a fun filled evening of culture and cuisine. Making a difference through nursing scholarships

Recently, I read an article published in the December 2013 Say Yes to Education newsletter - Say Yes Scholar Honored by St. Joseph’s College of Nursing. As I read the story about Joshua Campbell, written by Kathy Sims of Say Yes, I could not help but reflect on how important scholarships are to help defray the cost of higher education – tuition, textbooks and living accommodations.

The use of vascular robotic systems for PCI

The aim of a vascular robotic system is to help interventional cardiologists perform percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures with greater precision. The systems are designed to provide greater accuracy of lesion measurement, aid in better advancement of guidewires, and help ensure correct placement of stents—which, all together, can lead to less instances of additional stent placement per lesion.
