Food Allergy
A food allergy is when your body has a bad immune reaction to a certain food. This is different than a food intolerance which does not affect the immune system. This is true even though some of the same signs may be present.
Folate-Deficiency Anemia
Folate deficiency is the lack of folic acid in the blood. Folic acid is a B vitamin needed to make normal red blood cells. Low levels can cause megaloblastic anemia.
Fibrous Dysplasia
Fibrous dysplasia is a chronic disorder in which an abnormal development of fibrous tissue causes bones to expand. Any bone can be affected. More than one bone can be affected at any one time, and, when multiple bones are affected, it is not unusual for them to all be on one side of the body. However, fibrous dysplasia does not spread from one bone to another.
