SYRACUSE - St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center has appointed Christopher Jordan, RN, director of quality resources, effective May 19.
Prior to joining St. Joseph’s, Jordan worked at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. where he started as a critical care registered nurse, becoming a quality improvement specialist, and ultimately the director of quality improvement and infection control.
Jordan has also worked as a critical care nurse at Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he worked in the trauma intensive care unit, as well as Georgetown University Hospital, and Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.
Jordan holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and was a surgical technician in the United States Army Reserves. He received his Master’s degree in health services administration from George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services, his bachelor of science degree in nursing from Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies, and his bachelor of science in biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Mass.
