  • Patients in crisis related to a wide variety of mental health illnesses, often cooccurring with substance abuse
  • Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) patients

  • Level 3 intensive care nursery
  • Premature or critically ill newborns
  • Vents/CPAP/High flow cannula
  • Attend all emergency and high risk births
ED 5-1
  • Provides entry into our health care network for more than 70,000 patients of all ages each year
  • Patient to nurse acute care ratio of three to one
  • 20 Beds
  • Postpartum mothers and newborns

  • Occasionally female medical/surgical patients
ED Observation     Endoscopy
  • 15 Beds
  • Telemetry
  • Cardiac care and hospitalist service
  • More than 3,000 procedures per year
  • Various procedures including colonoscopies, gastroscopies and bronchoscopies, ERCP and EUS
  • Patients range from newborns to geriatrics
IV Therapy OR
  • Busy Unit, 2,500-3,000 IV/month
  • Complete care of PICC/ports
  • Approx 7,000 blood draws/month
  • Shifts vary from rest of hospital
  • 12 Operating rooms
  • Cardio, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, neuro, general, GYN, GU, robotics

  • 10 beds
  • Medical/surgical patients
  • Class II telemetry

 

  • High degree of patient/family contact
  • Patients are prepared for procedures done in the hospital
  • After procedures, patients return here for further observation and review of their discharge instructions
 3-2 Cardio Lab 
  • 16 beds
  • Medical oncology patients
  • Class II telemetry
  • Five procedure rooms
  • More than 5,000 patients per year
  • Procedures include heart catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements
  • Also does carotid artery stenting and PFO closures percutaneously
  • Adult lab only

  • Women's medical/surgical patients
  •  Licensed Psychiatric Emergency Room
  •  Provides care to patients of all ages
  • Clinical team comprised of nurses, a mental health professional, and a psychiatrist
