- We offer a limited number of seasonal community smoking cessation programs.
- The Smoking Cessation staff has many years of experience in pulmonary care, smoking cessation and cardiac care.
- Telephone follow-up and assistance is provided to all participants.

In-Patient Program
All patients who use tobacco will be advised to quit. Patient education information will be offered to individuals who use tobacco. St. Joseph’s Hospital strongly advises patients to contact the New York State Smokers’ Quitline (a toll-free number) at 1-866- NY-QUITS (1-866-697-8487).
Out-Patient Program
Individuals who use tobacco are strongly advised to contact the NYS Smokers’ Quitline at 1-866-NY-QUITS (1-866-697-8487). The free service of the Smokers’ Quitline has successfully helped individuals who use tobacco to quit. Quitline specialists counsel in multiple languages and are available to counsel on quitting, use of nicotine replacement products, and how to remain smoke free.
