The Work of the Foundation
Your gift to St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation enables the hospital network to build and modernize facilities, install the latest medical technology, maintain primary care centers to provide care to uninsured and underserved families, provide for patient comfort and care, and fund staff education to stay abreast of the newest developments in medical care and treatment.

Major Projects for 2008
- Facility Enhancement - building and renovation projects identified in our long-range planning
- College of Nursing - faculty development, facility improvement, scholarships
- Endowment for Mission Services - a new long-term funding resource for primary care centers, the dental office and mental health services
- Medical Technology - to develop a long-term funding resource for purchases of state-of-the-art technology in all areas of the hospital, including cardiac, vascular, orthopedic, obstetrics, rehabilitation and others
- Mental Health - children's treatment programs, adult rehabilitation program, staff training, CPEP
- Maternal Child Health Center - OB, Maternal Child Health Center - Pediatric, Westside Family Health Center, Family Medicine Center – health education programs, translation services and materials, staff training
Annual Appeal
St. Joseph's Annual Appeal provides an important and ongoing resource for hospital services. Funds from the Annual Appeal are used for a variety of programs. This year's contributions will support St. Joseph's primary care centers - the Maternal Child Health Center, Family Medicine Center, Westside Family Health Center and Dental Office - and Mental Health Services.
Circle of Caring
St. Joseph’s Circle of Caring is a membership program for supporters of the programs and services of St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. In keeping with the values of our Mission, membership levels include circles of Excellence, Compassion, Stewardship, and Service. Walkway of Caring
The Walkway of Caring is a scenic garden paved with bricks generously donated by supporters of St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. The beautiful courtyard offers a quiet place for reflection and tranquility for patients, families and visitors. Bricks carry messages of honor and celebration, remembrance and love. Planned Giving
The 1869 Society was founded to recognize individuals who demonstrate their deep commitment to St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center and its mission of service by making a planned gift.
