Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri Returns to Syracuse and will attend the St. Joseph’s Annual Gala

SYRACUSE, NY - St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center Foundation is delighted to add reigning Miss America, Nina Davuluri to their list of 800+ guests attending their 23rd Annual Gala this Friday, May 30, 2014, in Verona.

Nina Davuluri, the pride of Fayetteville, will be in attendance at the Turning Stone Resort Casino, host of the annual gala, to participate in the evening’s festivities. Her parents, Dr. Chaudhury Davuluri and Sheela Davuluri, will be co-chairs of the event, along with Mr. Edward and Mrs. Marie Grabowski, and Dr. Richard Waldman and Ms. Elaine Mielcarski, CNM.

“We are delighted to have Miss America, Nina Davuluri, be a part of our annual Gala this, given her busy travel schedule and the demands on her time.  We are honored that she is able to help us raise funds to support our loyal patients and their families by appearing at this year's St Joseph's Hospital Foundation Gala,” Douglas G. The Annual Gala, themed “A Passage to India”, is destined to be a colorful, festive event which will be a tribute to Indian culture filled with zeal and enthusiasm. CNY Infusion Services, LLC, will once again be the presenting sponsor. The evening will feature dining and dancing to the live music of Atlas. Cocktails begin at 6:45 p.m. in the event center atrium, with dinner and dancing following at 8 p.m. in the main ballroom. Black tie is optional.
