St. Joseph’s Breast Care and Surgery offers a comprehensive center of excellence for breast health, consisting of an interdisciplinary team of experts who provide diagnostic care, treatment and follow up based on national standards of care.
Approximately one in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Each year nearly 235,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and over 40,000 will die. Breast cancer is the most common cancer
among women and the second most common cause of death.
Our goal is to ensure that all women with breast disease
receive the highest level of care. Our coordinated approach provides for the best possible results for prognosis, physical and cosmetic outcomes and emotional stability.
St. Joseph’s Breast Care and Surgery partners with St. Joseph’s Imaging
to ensure delivery of an organized system of care, thus decreasing the likelihood of a delayed or a missed cancer diagnosis. The more women with access to mammography, the more cancers will be detected.
