There is plenty of room for a family member or friend to visit while you receive your treatment.  You have the option of a privacy curtain, or you can choose to socialize with others in the unit. Cable TV is available for your entertainment. At some locations, wireless Internet services as well as inhouse video/DVD are available to use during treatment.

St. Joseph’s Dialysis Services offers:

  • Acute inpatient dialysis
  • One-on-one orientation sessions for those just beginning dialysis
  • Outpatient hemodialysis
  • Home training unit for peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis training

After consulting with your physician, you may opt to dialyze at home through St. Joseph’s Home Dialysis Unit. Our highly trained, knowledgeable staff can provide patient education and support, as well as assist you in ordering the necessary supplies. When you do find it necessary to visit our Home Dialysis Unit, you will find superior medical care and easy accessibility located at St. Joseph’s Regional Dialysis Center, 973 James St., Syracuse.
