Hana Smith, M.D., Joins St. Joseph’s Health Cardiovascular Institute

SYRACUSE, N.Y.— (July 14, 2020) St. Joseph’s Health welcomes cardiologist Dr. Hana Smith, M.D., FACC, to St. Joseph’s Health Cardiovascular Institute. In her new role, Dr. Smith joins a diverse team of highly qualified cardiologists, surgeons, technologists and nurses who work together to provide a more fluid, effective approach to cardiac care.
Dr. Smith is a board-certified physician specialized in cardiology. Prior to joining St. Joseph’s Health, she served as a staff cardiologist at the Guthrie Cortland Medical Center in Cortland, New York.
Dr. Smith earned her medical degree from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic and completed her medical training with several fellowships in the United States, including the most recent one in Cardiovascular disease from the Upstate University of New York in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Smith is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular diseases and holds board certifications in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
