Bihter Korbeci, M.D., Family Physician, Joins St. Joseph’s Health

SYRACUSE – St. Joseph’s Health welcomes Bihter Korbeci, M.D. to St. Joseph’s Physicians Family Medicine in Liverpool, New York. In his role, Dr. Korbeci will join a diverse team of

highly qualified family physicians providing comprehensive health care to the community.

Dr. Korbeci earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University, Grenada, West Indies, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, New York.

An active researcher, Dr. Korbeci worked as a research assistant in the Enzyme Genomics Lab at Banting and Best Institute in Ontario, Canada and in the field of Human Development and Applied Psychology. Additionally, his research in the Pediatric Department at Elmhurst Hospital Center has been published in the Pediatric Academic Societies journal.

Dr. Korbeci is certified in Pediatric Advance Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
