Vincent J. Kuss has been appointed Vice President for Development at the St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center Foundation. In this role, Kuss leads all activities of the hospital’s Foundation, including the strategy, direction and execution of the hospital’s fund-raising goals. Kuss brings to the role more than 16 years of healthcare and higher education development experience. A graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He also earned his Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Syracuse University and a Master of Business Administration from Le Moyne College.

For the last three years at St. Joseph’s he has been responsible for major gift grateful patient fund-raising in key service lines and helping manage development operations, including completing St. Joseph’s Generations capital campaign to support the expansion project at the organization’s hospital campus. He is a member of nearly a dozen community and national organizations, including the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Central New York, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, and the Fayetteville-Manlius Little League Board of Directors. Kuss resides in Manlius with his wife and three children.



Pamela Kleine has been promoted to Director of Special Events and Annual Giving, assuming new responsibilities in her expended role, including the Foundation’s program that provides grants of up to $5,000 to departments throughout the St. Joseph’s Health system. Kleine, who has been with the Foundation since 2010, continues to lead the Foundation’s events and oversee the Annual Giving initiatives.

St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center Foundation's primary purpose is to raise funds that will be used to enhance patient care and comfort throughout St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center's network of services. The Foundation’s 25th Annual Gala will be held at the Turning Stone Resort Casino on Friday, June 3, 2016.
