St. Joseph’s Health welcomes new hospitalist
May 5, 2022SYRACUSE, N.Y.— (May 5, 2022) St. Joseph’s Health welcomes Aleena Saleem, MD, to St. Joseph’s Health Hospital in Syracuse. In her new role, Dr. Saleem will join a team of hospitalists with diverse specialties to provide a wide range of specialized care to the Syracuse community.
A board-certified family physician, Dr. Saleem completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Health in 2021 and continues to provide quality care to St. Joseph’s Health Hospital patients as a hospitalist.
Prior to St. Joseph’s Health, Dr. Saleem gained experience as a physician in Pakistan and the U.S. From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Saleem served as a physician and researcher in Pakistan and later as an observer at medical centers in Michigan.
Dr. Saleem holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Saleem is seeing patients at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital.
