St. Joseph's Health Welcomes Physician Ryan Planer

Syracuse, NY (September 2018) – St. Joseph's Health welcomes Ryan Planer, MD, MPH, to St. Joseph's Physicians Primary Care, Baldwinsville, where he will provide patients with full scope family medicine.




Planer earned his Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his Master of Public Health from The State University of New York Upstate Medical University. He also has his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology and Bachelor of Arts in European History from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. Prior to joining St. Joseph’s Health in this capacity, he completed his residency with the St. Joseph’s Health Family Medicine Residency Program, where he served as chief resident for one year.




Planer is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Onondaga County Medical Society.
