Syracuse, NY (November 6, 2018) – St. Joseph's Health welcomes Otolaryngologist and Allergist Tucker M. Harris, MD, to its St. Joseph’s Physicians ENT (ear, nose and throat) team at Northeast Medical Center in Fayetteville. As an ENT physician and surgeon, Dr. Harris’ practice is focused on the treatment of disorders of the head and neck with emphasis on otological (middle and inner ear) disorders and otological surgery, including implantable hearing devices. Harris also has a special interest in the treatment of allergy, including immunotherapy (allergy shots and oral allergy drops/tablets). Harris is committed to innovation and advancement in his field and is actively involved in clinical research

Prior to joining St. Joseph’s Health, Harris worked as an otolaryngologist for Arnot Medical Services (AMS) and Arnot Ogden Medical Center (AMOC) in Elmira, New York. In addition to his practice, he served as medical director of otolaryngology and medical director of otology. Harris has also served as a member of the faculty for the Division of Otology and Neurotology at SUNY Upstate Medical University where he was an assistant professor.

Harris earned his Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, and completed his residency in the Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences at SUNY Upstate Medical University and Syracuse Veterans Administration Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. He completed his fellowship in otology/neurotology at SUNY Upstate Medical University.

Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS), Harris is also a fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA). He holds a New York State Medical License, Drug Enforcement Agency certification and is certified in Basic Life Support.
