St. Joseph's Physicians Welcomes Denise Lougee

SYRACUSE – St. Joseph’s Physicians Family Medicine welcomes Denise Lougee, MS, PA-C, to our Radisson Health Center location in Baldwinsville, New York. Lougee received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with minors in chemistry and health care missions, from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

Lougee has practiced as a Physician Assistant in a family care setting for seven years, her most recent appointment was at Village Family Care in Baldwinsville where she addressed both acute and routine patient needs. Her experience includes family practice management at Joseph Lorenzetti Family Practice in Seneca Falls, New York, and as an urgent care provider at Northeast Medical Center Urgent Care in Fayetteville, New York.

Her extensive clinical training includes: primary care; emergency medicine and urgent care; general, orthopedic and gynecological surgery; geriatrics; behavioral health; cardiology; and obstetrics and gynecology. In 2004, Lougee, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, provided health care services to nearly 7000, underserved patients in Zambia, Africa as a participant in a medical mission trip.

“Denise brings comprehensive clinical experience to our Family Care team in Baldwinsville, and her background in family and urgent care practice strengthens our ability to provide a higher level of care to all of our patients and their families,” said Julianne Himes, chief operating officer for St. Joseph’s Physicians. Lougee will also see patients on select weekends at St. Joseph’s Physicians North Medical Center location in Liverpool, New York.
