St. Joseph’s Physicians Welcomes Dr. Anthony Vigliotti, Providing Palliative Care

SYRACUSE, N.Y.— St. Joseph’s Physicians is pleased to announce Anthony Vigliotti, MD has returned to St. Joseph’s Health Hospital to provide palliative medicine care. He brings more than 10 years’ experience to the role, including serving as the assistant medical director for Hospice of CNY.
In his role, Dr. Vigliotti is responsible for the medical care and treatment of seriously ill patients. He will provide direction and guidance to the patient, family members and fellow clinicians to assure quality of end-of-life care for patients and their families.
“Palliative care gives me the opportunity to support my patients through the final life transition,” said Dr. Vigliotti. “It is an honor to be a part of a team that holds the collective belief in caring for the whole person with dignity and working together to prevent and ease the suffering for our during this transition.”
Dr. Vigliotti received his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hamilton College receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry.
Dr. Vigliotti is seeing patients at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital.
