SYRACUSE, N.Y.— St. Joseph’s Physicians is pleased to welcome Renee Groetz, MD, to St. Joseph’s Health Hospital as a member of our highly skilled team of hospitalists, who treat a wide range of conditions.

 

As a hospitalist, Dr. Groetz cares for patients from the time they enter the hospital, to the time they’re discharged. She handles diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care of needed specialists. This model of care improves the efficacy of care and patient outcomes leading to greater patient satisfaction.

 

I am excited to join the hospitalist team at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital and give back to the community I grew up in,” said Dr. Groetz. “I completed my residency at St. Joseph’s and decided to accept a position after graduation because of the supportive staff and colleagues I work with every day.”

 

Dr. Groetz holds a medical degree from Saint James School of Medicine, Park Ridge, IL. She earned an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Buffalo. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital where she served as Chief Resident.
