Dr. Anthony S. Oliva is a Board-Certified General Surgeon who has been practicing General Surgery since 2002. He has been on the Medical Staff at St. Joseph's Health since 2006. His current focus is on Acute Care General Surgery.
Dr. Oliva is responsible for evaluating and caring for patients with emergent surgical problems that are either in the emergency room or admitted to St. Joseph's Health Hospital. The most common problems he treats are gallbladder disease, appendicitis, diverticulitis, small bowel obstruction, incarcerated or strangulated hernia, perforated ulcer, feeding tube insertion and soft tissue infections.
