Stephen Nash, M.D., FACC, Joined St. Joseph’s Health as Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
March 31, 2020SYRACUSE, N.Y.— (January 31, 2020) St. Joseph’s Health welcomes Stephen Nash, M.D., as the medical director of St. Joseph’s Health Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. In this role, Nash will oversee all cardiac rehabilitation services and help advance the cardiovascular programs at St. Joseph’s Health.
Nash is certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and clinical lipidology with more than 20 years of clinical experience in New York state. He began practicing preventive cardiology in 1990, has extensive research experience and has lectured internationally.
In addition to clinical experience, Nash has been a clinical assistant professor of medicine at State University of New York Upstate Medical University for more than 25 years and serves on the editorial board for The Journal of Clinical Lipidology.
Nash earned his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and completed his medical training with a residency at Rush University Medical Center, formerly Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Nash also completed a cardiology fellowship at University of California San Francisco Medical Center at Mount Zion in San Francisco.
Nash assumed his role in January 2020.
