St. Joseph’s Health Chief Nursing Officer Julie Moore Named to Women We Admire’s Top 50 Women CNOs of 2025

SYRACUSE, N.Y.— St. Joseph’s Health is proud to announce that Julie Moore, DNP, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, CCRN, Chief Nursing Officer, has been named one of the Top 50 Women Chief Nursing Officers of 2025 by Women We Admire, a national organization that celebrates the achievements of influential women across industries.
This honor recognizes Dr. Moore’s exceptional leadership, her commitment to advancing nursing practice, and her impact on patient care innovation at St. Joseph’s Health and beyond.
“Julie’s leadership is a cornerstone of our mission to deliver compassionate, high-quality care,” said Meredith Price, Senior Vice President of Acute Care at St. Joseph’s Health. “Her dedication to empowering nursing teams and driving clinical excellence is truly inspiring, and we are thrilled to see her recognized among the nation’s top nursing executives.”
Dr. Moore joined St. Joseph’s Health in early 2025, bringing over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in critical care, emergency services, surgical operations, infection prevention, and patient safety. Prior to her role in Syracuse, she served as Vice President of Patient Care Services at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, where she oversaw more than 3,500 colleagues and led transformative initiatives that improved emergency department efficiency, reduced hospital-acquired conditions, and enhanced patient outcomes.
She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Baylor University, her MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution. Dr. Moore is board-certified as a Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) and a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN).
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Moore is deeply committed to community service, volunteering with organizations that support the homeless, animal welfare, and future nursing leaders. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, fostering rescue animals, and spending time with her grandchildren.
