Jonathan Ramalho, MD

Dr. Jonathan Ramalho is a recent graduate from Westchester Medical Center's Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program where he completed two years of advanced training focused on medical management and minimally-invasive strategies for treating complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. He is originally from Westfield, NJ and completed a majority of his advanced medical training in New York City. His primary focus will be aimed at the diagnosis and treatment of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias with modalities such as cryoablation, radiofrequency ablation and pulsed-field ablation, as well as pacing therapy with novel strategies such as leadless pacing and cardiac resynchronization therapy with conduction system pacing. Dr. Ramalho also performs left atrial appendage closure with Watchman and Amulet as an alternative approach to stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation. Dr. Ramalho is passionate about continuing medical education and teaching students, residents and fellows. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS). 

In his free time, Dr. Ramalho enjoys staying active, cooking and spending time with family. He has two siblings and two young nieces.
