Patient Visit from Spiritual Care Team

Visits to patients

One-on-one spiritual and emotional support for patients, families and care-givers
The Spiritual Care ministry is part of patient care and is available seven days a week/ 24 hours a day.

We listen. We can pray with you and your loved ones in a manner that is respectful of your personal beliefs. We can help with difficult family conversations, sorting out your thoughts, feelings and wishes, or simply wait with you in the silence.

We provide support to individuals who are from other regions of upstate New York who have been hospitalized and may not have family with them.

We connect the patient to other non-clinical services within the hospital.

We provide resources to give comfort to the patient.

Eucharistic ministers provide communion on a daily basis to Catholic patients. Staff priests visit patients for anointings and communion.

We will stand with you in your time of need.
